Top 7 reasons why I HATE North Indians

I hate North Indians. Yeah! The very sight of them sends hate waves down my spine...
But my reasons for such levels of despise are rather... should we say ... umm unconventional. Here's the top 7 in my list :
1)Those guys have Priyanka Chopra,Preity Zinta, Minisha Lamba, Neha Dhupia, Esha Deol and other goddesses ... All we have is Urmila Matondkar!! Wow!! That really excites me! REALLY!!
2) Their leaders find innovative ways to stay in the news like sting operations, chalisas on their names, memorials at parks... All we can manage to find are leaders who have no creativity as far as PR is concerned. Damn!!
3) North Indians get a large chunk of India... I mean, they get an ENTIRE DIRECTION to themselves!! All we get is a pea-sized state and an illusionary title MAHArashtra.
4)North India is to the North i.e. it is closer to the North Pole, this means that taking the annual pattern of the earth solar rotation and revolution into consideration, the cumulative amount of sunlight that North India receives is more than what we do.. And then we go about wondering about the cause of the power crisis... Brains, people, BRAINS!!
5) North India has been ruled in the past by the Mughals, Ashoka etc... It was the battleground for the Mahabharata, Ramayana, The Annual UP parliament Wrestling Championship, etc. Amcha Bollywood makes movies on all this futile issues and people. But I don’t see a film on Shivaji Maharaj or 'VT station at 6' any time in the near future. Let justice befall upon our souls!
6) Ok now here's one that I'm really concerned about: You see North India, as I have already informed you, is to the North. Ok? Good. So it’s closer to Pakistan. Now whenever Pakistan will attack us, they will know that we will assume that they will attack through the north. But that is where they beat us! Instead they shall fool us by starting from our own Maharashtra. Don't you understand the gravity of the situation?
7) You know, North Indians have this ugly habit of hard work. I tell you what it’s a scam. As Phoebe Buffay had hinted in FRIENDS, when the Ant People attack our civilisation, they’ll be looking for good slaves and they'd kill the rest with their acidic anti-people venom. North Indians know about this controversy since they are part-descendants of the LION-people (Singh, you see). All they are doing by driving our taxis, building our houses, selling awesome panipuri is just a preparation for Armageddon.

I told you my reasons were unconventional. Some might even find them impractical. But which seer didn't have critiques? My claims are sound. They are at least much, much saner than a certain Thakerey.

  1. Sorry for going a bit overboard. But I hope the message is clear. Do drop in comments. Bloggers eat, drink ,sleep and sometimes make up entire posts out of comments.

  2. Well a nice way to reason out as to why WE hate north Indians. But I would have rather appreciated your blog if you would have actually studied Mr. Thackerey's reasons for opposing the north Indians. Because when someone whom you accept as your guest comes and kicks your ass, it hurts big time.

  4. Very well written.. as usual..
But d thing to b ponderd about is d actions being taken by d certain "thackerey".. not at all justified.. as for charu.. the punishment for 1's mistake shudnt b given to d entire community.. beatin up ppl frm bihar will solv d prob ?? it'll case evn mor agitation.. bu again.. depends on personal opinion.. IMO.. thackerey needs to b rational n unbiased in thinkin.. shud consider d positives n negatives both.. rather than only d negatives..

Firstly,Thanx for visiting. Secondly, I have given here some baseless reasons to 'hate' north Indians. The important word is HATE. Each community in our societies brings with itself its baggages along with it. Be it good ones or bad ones. History itself stands testimony to this fact. A more ,let me call it ... tolerant society would welcome the new community and filter away the cons. At most , it would be reluctant to accept the intrusion. But to hate the intruders is a complete insane thing according to me. In the 19 th century blacks in America were slaves and outcast. Do you know slavery by cblacks was legalised in more than half a dozen US staes? Then they had a civil rights movement. Loads of struggle and years later we have Obama. You don't throw away people just because YOU "THINK" they are wortheless

Again thanx for visiting after a long time.
Dude, really, spot on. As you said, there is no point pretending that north Indians are not a liability to us. But they are so as much as Gujjus are, Southies, Parsis are... And what Raj is doing will get back to haunt us in the future. This morning's TOI tells about a Marathi family from Haryana who feld Haryana because some locals threatened them for being Marathis!! And this could just be the beginning.

    @appu
Thanx for being an ardent follower. *Bows down in salutation*

  8. Well hats off to ur interpretation dude!! (standing ovation frm me!!)
I also might like to add that North Indians help fellow north Indians grow...while as we Maharashtrians are hell bent on pullin each other down....
Also mate how cud u forget their hospitality???All of them are welcoming to all...well,I don't need to comment on our hostpitality do I?

  9. well firstly a very satirical take on d whole issue i liked it..
I do agree tht the stand taken by MNC is wrong n thers no justification to what happened.
It was wrong. But d problems raised by Mr. Thackere r not baseless or non-existant. These problems existed in Maharashtra some years ago n if d issue wouldn ve been taken then many middle class families wud ve been destroyed i may say..
Its not abt welcomin anyone or not its abt encroachin the space..
I might add tht guests r welcomed only till they behave as guests; nothins wrong in feelin at home but dont overdo it.
I may sound like MNS supporter or approve of their behaviour but d fact remains someone needs to take up d issue n address it BUT IN A BETTER WITHOUT HURTIN ANYONE ESPECIALLY OUR FELLOW COUNTRYMEN!!

  13. hey...u visited my blog once...
excellent would be an understatement for this post. you see, i am one of "them" and when i read posts like these it assures me people still have senses. Hating someone is very easy...it's understanding them that takes a bit more effort. maharashtra is am much mine as yours, and so is bihar. politicians will never understand this.

  14. Hey Rajeev,
Thanks for dropping by. You are right by the way. Politicians have used the agenda to their best benefits ... the meteoric rise of Raj thakerey is for all to see.. im just sad that a lot of ppl have fallen into the trap

  15. For those who think issue of migrants is important and someone has to address it, check this article: http://news.rediff.com/column/2010/feb/10/migrants-do-more-good-than-harm-to-mumbai.htm
Mumbai Human Development Report 2009: http://mhupa.gov.in/W_new/Mumbai%20HDR%20Complete.pdf
Why attcks on Indians in Australia was wrong even they were doing same thing. "Woh to fir be gairo ko maar rahe the, hum to apno ko hi maar rahe hai". There are many cities in India where people have migrated for job and livelihood so I guess even they should start kicking migrants out. Stop supporting politicians on such silly topic, India is facing other major problems which I guess these politicians should consider but they wont do it because it'll harm them. Black money, corruption, inflation are few of them. This is my first comment on any blog of if I am wrong in any way applogise me.

  16. Hey Ganesh,
Thanks a lot for visiting and sharing that link. Come to think of it ... most enterprises that flourished in Mumbai have been setup by these outsiders and it serves no purpose to drive them out. Moreover the MNS have not taken much action against the parsis, gujjus, sindhis. Its the voiceless that they have blatantly targeted. However I read a news this morning. MNS is training locals from Mumbai for the Railways Exam. I like this kind of constructive approach much better than beating up innocent aspirants at the railway station and driving them back to their home towns
